No foolin! The MYSTERY RETREAT will be 4 relaxed, fun-filled days in Quilt Town USA. 
4 night retreat with check-in beginning at 4 pm Monday, March 31. Check out Friday, April 4th 11am***. 
 
MYSTERY class - Courtenay Hughes will guide you through the process of making a lap sized mystery quilt. Fabric selection suggestions and cut instructions will be emailed to each participant before January 1, 2025. This will guide you through choosing the fabrics to bring to retreat for your MYSTERY QUILT!
This class is sure to be a lot of fun. All you will know is the fabrics that you are using! Then, throughout the retreat, Courtenay will reveal/teach one block at a time. By the end of the retreat, you will have learned all the blocks to finish your MYSTERY QUILT!
The finished quilt size is roughly 60x60 (additional borders can be added. NOT included in instructions for purchasing fabric)
 
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: 
Courtenay has been quilting for over 30 years. She has no idea where her love for the craft comes from as her mother didn't even like to hem pants. She has worked and taught in several quilt shops. Her current position as head of the sewing team at Missouri Star is a perfect fit for her.Along with winning blue ribbons for several of her quilts, she has a class on the Craftsy forum called Luminous Lone Star. She has also been on several Facebook lives for Missourii Star and has filmed several videos/classes for them.Courtenay lives in Hamilton, along with her husband of 22 years and 2 dogs and an old cat.

Our sewing hall will knock your socks off! Each guest will have their own 6 foot table and a chair and plenty of outlets. The lighting is wonderful. We provide ironing stations at each block of tables (6-8 guests share), but you are welcome to bring your own mini iron for your station. You may consider bringing an extra chair pad-especially if you have a favorite! We also have free WIFI and 2 massage chairs in the hall. 
**Sewing machine kit will be available for the duration of your stay. It includes Eversewn Sparrow sewing machine rental, use of rotary cutter, scissors, mat, and ruler. (You may need to provide additional blades/needles/ threads)
 
We work hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our boutique-esque guests' suites include:
5 twin beds in each room. 
Living Room/TV shared with the room next door.
1-2 bathrooms - with exterior vanities for more gals to get ready at once! 
Endless HOT water!! 
Pillowtop mattresses and soft linens!

Our entire facility, including guest rooms and event hall, is on ground level. No stairs are required.
